CONCLAVES
CALSA is holds this conference at a time when the goal of an effective education for Latino students—including Latino English learners (ELs) is more critical than ever to their future and to California’s social and economic health. The conclave will focus on this crucial issue and provide participants with information on how to help achieve this goal by:
Highlighting research-validated promising practices and strategies to raise Latino/a student achievement,
Exploring how these practices and strategies can be integrated into schools and classrooms, and
Fostering communication and relationships between school district leaders and researchers to facilitate the use of research to improve Latino student achievement.
