Participants will engage in meaningful learning, authentic community-building, and shared leadership experiences that strengthen systems, elevate student and family voice, and cultivate the next generation of educational leaders.

This gathering convenes educational leaders, policymakers, students, and partners from across California to exchange effective practices, address inequities, and inspire leadership that advances opportunity, strengthens communities, and creates lasting impact for those we serve.

Hotel Accommodations Update

Due to high demand, availability within the Summer Institute 2026 room block is limited.

At this time, rooms remain available within our contracted rate for a Friday, June 26 check-in. For attendees interested in arriving earlier, reservations may also be extended beginning Tuesday, June 23, based on hotel availability and within the contracted room rate.

Please note that CALSA’s room block closes on June 2, 2026.

The nearest airport to the Gaylord Pacific Resort and Convention Center is the San Diego International Airport. This airport is 10.0 miles away and the Gaylord does not currently offer shuttle service.
