CALSA seeks candidates with the vision and determination to grow the organization to eventually sustain a full-time Executive Director position. Candidates, including those with other interests or employment, who possess organizational and leadership skills that would allow them to serve in a part-time Executive Director position are encouraged to apply.
CALSA is venturing into a new era. We seek an Executive Director who understands and can further our Mission of increasing the number of highly effective Latino/a administrators in the state and effecting policies to overcome the challenges faced by California Latino students and English learners.
The Board seeks to hire an Executive Director who can begin to serve from or about July 2019. Attached is a description of the responsibilities and expectations for the Executive Director.

After screening applications by the CALSA’s Executive Director Search Sub-Committee, a list of candidates to be interviewed will be contacted for a personal interview with the CALSA Board at the Summer Institute on Saturday, July 6, 2019 in San Diego.
